Very Nice good delicious !!!

My hubby and I came here for lunch because we remembered coming here almost 20 years ago and how much we loved it. It did not disappoint. The clam chowder is the best we’ve ever had, 20 years ago and again today. The service was wonderful, and we highly recommend place if you’re in Monterey.

We chose Old Fisherman’s Grotto based on its outstanding TripAdvisor reviews, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re currently two weeks into a road trip through California, Nevada and Utah, enjoying some fantastic food along the way, and this was without question the best meal we’ve had so far.From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our visit.The food was exceptional, both in quality and flavour, and the portions were incredibly generous. Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.If you're visiting Monterey Bay, make sure Old Fisherman’s Grotto is on your itinerary. It’s easy to see why it has such an excellent reputation, and for us, it was the culinary highlight of an unforgettable Western States road trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great food. Great service. Atmosphere perfect. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Rounding off the evening with a rose for the ladies was special. Will definitely return when in the area.

The service was excellent! The restaurant was on the fancier side and really beautiful, and the menu had a great selection of options. I got the chicken parmesan, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant! My husband got the crab ravioli and loved it as well, although his portion was a bit smaller compared to mine.

To top it all off, our waiter brought me a rose at the end of dinner, which was such a sweet touch! We had a wonderful experience and would definitely go again!

Good view of water on 2nd level. Staff was very attentive! And specials for lunch were outstanding!

Been here three times and will come back every time I’m here! We are treated like they are so happy to have our business and happy to serve us!! The location and view is the best! The ambiance is fantastic and the food is exceptional!

While visiting Monterey with my mother and sister we had a great dinner at the grotto.
Th e staff was very friendly and professional. The food was very good, as usual! Their calamari the best I have ever had! It was fresh and hand breaded and cooked to perfection.
