Service and food were both excellent. Classy place. Ate here with 2 other people. Probably the best clam chowder any of us has had. The crab louie was great and came with papaya and mango. The hot crab sandwich and coconut shrimp was also really good. The presentation of all the meals was great and everything looked and tasted fresh..

If you want a charming reminder of how restaurants used to be in the early 2000s, this is a perfect place to go. It was almost novel to see all the little things that a lot of places don't do anymore (free bread and butter, "outdated" dessert presentations, etc.). The service was excellent, and the food was pretty good. The Sand Dabs were crisp and flavorful, but the risotto was a little overcooked. The raspberry cheesecake, clam chowder, and Linguini Isabella were all very nice. I would definitely come here again.

Sure this place is expensive. I say "Get Over It". It's on the Warf, a tourists spot, what do you expect? They are not children friendly as stated on a sign at the front entrance. Not a bad idea some might say. How many times have you had your meal ruined by a screaming child at a table near you. Or parents not paying attention to their kids and letting them running around? None of that here. GOOD! We ordered a burger, fries, spinach salad and a grilled artichoke. All items were great and our server Giovanny was outstanding. Will defiantly return when in Monterey again

Great food, pretty good service, and the best tiramisu! Inside is boat-like and it's cool to see the water if you're lucky to get a table with a view. We were seated quickly and the food was very good.

We dined here during our most recent trip to Monterey. I've frequented this restaurant over the years and consider them to have the best clam chowder in the area. I usually stop by for lunch so just grab a clam chowder to go, but this time we visited for dinner and so dined in. Food as expected was great. We ordered the Isabella pasta and the macadamia halibut. And of course the clam chowder. The only reason why I'm knocking a star is because I know they have a very strict children policy. My son is 7 and I was more than happy to give him a screen so he would be occupied for dinner. But even before we entered the restaurant, they pointed to the sign about their kids policy. I understand if our kid was loud once we sat down for them to reiterate their policy, but I was a little put off by that gesture. Plus I had made reservations through open table and the children policy was clearly written there as well so I was fully aware of this policy. I understand they want to maintain a nice atmosphere for all their guests especially ones with no kids. But I wish it was handled better. Or maybe I'll just stick to take out.

This place has a ton of old school charm. The food it pretty good, the cold crab sandwich was a little boring and bland but we did enjoy the seafood sampler. The drinks are light on the alcohol and the bathrooms are upstairs through the hallways that can feel a little narrow and like a maze. The owner is so kind and I love seeing all the pictures in the bar area. It's definitely one of the best places to eat at the warf.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Monterey, it has the best food, it's right on the water, and the ambiance is very old school. Nothing beats their fish and chips! We were eating there to celebrate a graduation and they gave us dessert for free, so sweet and thoughtful!
