This is a reliably good restaurant at Old Fisherman's Wharf. The food is delicious, though pricey. The clam chowder is really good.

Love the child policy! I wish more restaurants had something similar. I want to enjoy a relaxing dinner in a calm environment, and this restaurant does exactly that. I highly recommend.

This is a fantastic place to bring your loved ones or to celebrate an anniversary. The food was excellent, the ambiance was so romantic and the service was top-notch. Our server Sal S. was so kind and friendly. He did a fantastic job at serving us. We got free roses for our anniversary and a dessert on the house.

The service was tip notch! Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. The food was fabulous, best clam chowder we have ever had! We were seated quickly and the room was simple just beautiful. We will definitely be returning!

Came here during a work conference as I had a taste for clam chowder. I opted for a cup of the chowder and ordered their seafood risotto which did not disappoint. It was creamy but didn't overwhelm the hefty amount of scallops,
Shrimp, salmon, and a whole lobster tail. I do think going in the day time would be better - the ambience in the evening gives a VERY romantic vibe and you can't see the water. My server was attentive and so sweet, I got a rose upon leaving.

My daughter loves their clam chowder in bowl we enjoy calamari and artichokes. My hubby enjoyed Gorgonzola and pear salad, seafood pasta. I ordered crab ravioli some of the pieces were over cooked however the sauce was delicious. Sipped pina coladas and topped off the night with creme brûlée and special pie.

Old Fisherman's Grotto is everything you want in a seaside dining experience -- warm hospitality, incredible views, and absolutely delicious food. We had an amazing time here! The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful -- especially the clam chowder, which deserves all the hype. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented.

The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, with that classic charm that makes you feel right at home by the water. Our server was so attentive and kind, making the whole experience even better. Whether you're celebrating something special or just enjoying a day on Cannery Row, this spot is a must.

Can't wait to come back for another bowl of chowder and a glass of wine overlooking the bay!

The New Zealand kind salmon is fresh and fatty. Very delicious, worth the extra cost.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 9 but they only seat groups of 6. So they were able to have us close by together in 2 different tables so we felt like we were together.

The inside is really nice and spacious. They have some tables with a view of the water but this time we got to see the pier.

Food was very good. The seafood pasta was very tasty and a good portion. Salmon was perfectly cooked along with the shrimp & claws. The clam chowder was very creamy & very flavorful.

We come here anytime we are in Monterey.
